Hey Livejournal, look who I'm working on.

Working with Photoshop is hard! I have never ever tried to do it because I hate it. I hate it with a passion. If I was doing this illustration in Illustrator, this piece woulda been done by now. THIS IS TAKING FOREVERRRRR. For the longest time I've resisted this style of coloring because it is so. labor. intensive for me. Who has time to color like this???

It's already taken me two and a half hours just to get this far, and this is just the foreground. I'm totally not gonna come close to finishing this today. My OCD doesn't like that. Not one bit.

Despite the time it takes to do it this way, I'm pretty excited about what it's gonna end up looking like. I gotta admit I'm pretty pleased with the outcome in the facial area. I wanted to give Illyana the crazy eyes.

Grade: Not bad.
